The Easy Way to Slice Cabbage

Take the guesswork out of preparing this leafy head.

We make quick work of slicing a large quantity of cabbage for recipes like our cabbage side dishes (see related content) by breaking it into smaller pieces for easier handling.

1. Cut into quarters, then trim and discard core.

2. Separate leaves into small, flat stacks.

3. Cut each stack of leaves into thin slices.
