Garlic Butter Sauce

To accentuate the rich, nutty flavor of the artichokes, we serve them with a garlicky butter sauce.

SERVES 2 (Makes about 1/3 cup)

TIME 15 minutes

WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS

We briefly cook the garlic in the butter to mellow its flavor, then add the lemon juice off heat to preserve its acidic punch.
