The ridges of a grill pan--even a nonstick model--can be a cleaning nightmare, thanks to the charred, sticky gunk that collects in the crevices. so we were impressed when we came across the George Foreman Grill Sponge ($4.99 for three): Half polyester sponge, half scouring pad, its unique grooved shape is designed to fit easily between the ridges on George Foreman-brand indoor grills. Luckily, that also happens to be just the right size for cleaning all of our favorite grill pans, most of which have similarly wide spaces between the ridges.
